  1. Regarding #47...

    Do not donate to locks of love. They charge for wigs made with donated hair, and only provide for children with hair loss related to certain problems.

    There is another group, Children with Hairloss, that does something similar, but provides hair for free. You can get your hair cut anywhere, and drop it off there (it's in South Rockwood).

    Via Bella, the salon in the strip mall in front of Woodhaven Meijer, offers free or discounted haircuts if you're donating your hair, and will deliver it for you. Each person who works there has a different policy on how they do it, so it depends on who cuts your hair... but if you ask the person at the front desk, they are very helpful. That's where I went when I donated my hair a few months ago, they were great. =)
